On Wednesday 15th May, Clinks Care Farm announced fine-art photographer Alfie Bowen as the organisations first Ambassador following a five-year relationship.

An award-winning social enterprise, Clinks Care Farm offers placements for disadvantaged or disabled people looking to gain confidence, life changing skills or recover from an accident or mental health condition.

Alfie Bowen comments:

I am extremely proud to have been appointed as the first ambassador for Clinks Care Farm. I first attended the farm five years ago during my recovery from mental health conditions and extremely low self-belief fuelled by many years of bullying. The farm and it’s wonderful community of smiling faces went on to play a key role in my transformation from depressed and anxious teenager to world-renowned artist.

I am delighted to have been appointed as ambassador, a founding aim of Alfie Bowen Photography is to give back to those causes close to my heart, and I can think of no better cause than Clinks Care Farm. They change lives on a daily basis and I look forward to supporting their work in the future.

Doeke Dobma at Clinks Care Farm adds:

Clinks Care Farm would like to announce Alfie Bowen as our young ambassador.

We have had a long connection with Alfie starting back in 2013, being part of his journey through school, and now onto his amazing photography career. This has allowed a strong bond to develop between Clinks Care Farm and Alfie.

Alfie has always supported the farm. He has done this by donating unique pieces of his work to aid in our fundraising and offering his photographic services at our charity events, allowing us to carry on offering opportunities to all that attend the farm, together with the local community.

As our young ambassador Alfie will carry on helping promote our work at the farm, empowering disadvantaged people to take positive steps for a brighter future and promote social inclusion.

All at Clinks Care Farm look forward to our continued work together with Alfie.
